Great Maine Apple Day

Fall fruit season is here! Join us at MOFGA for a day of celebration of apples & other delicious tree fruit. There will be guided tours of the Maine Heritage Orchard, workshops, cider pressing & help identifying ‘mystery’ apples by our apple identification team. Come see educational displays about fruit trees and a huge display of heritage apples. We’ll also have apple art activities for kids (and adults!) going on all afternoon, including the chance to screen print your own bandana! Stay tuned for a full schedule of workshops coming soon. This event isn't possible without the help of our amazing volunteer community. Volunteer jobs include help with set-up, clean-up, parking, welcome table, and the apple tasting station.
