MOFGA Hayday

We're hosting a new event here at MOFGA and we need your help!

Join us to learn some new skills & enjoy a summer’s day on the MOFGA grounds! This free, family-friendly event is open to all. The focus will be on seasonal, hands-on learning on the small scale with workshops and opportunities for direct learning in the field, forest, garden & orchard all day long. Try out a scythe or learn about sharpening, haying & more; learn to build an orchard ladder; help create a hugelkultur garden bed; or learn about pollarding & tree fodder, how to identify trees – and more! Lots of opportunities for kids to get involved, too. Enjoy the orchard & gardens on the MOFGA grounds, music and good food from Fresh Ella’s ice cream, Gracie’s Food Truck & Vesper Bread.
