This shift involves assisting fleece tent customers, helping to locate fleece types or a specific grower's fleeces, answering questions (or finding someone who can), helping to roll out fleeces for customers to look at, and assorted other responsibilities, We are looking for fiber-loving volunteers who enjoy working with people and will work to make the tent operation run smoothly. Check in at the Volunteer Check-In Tent (one located at each gate) ahead of your shift.
Volunteers will receive a meal ticket and T-shirt ticket after completion of their shift. These will be distributed by the Area Coordinator of your volunteer area. (Limit one T-shirt per volunteer per year.)
Please note: No entry to the Fairgrounds any earlier than 9am unless your volunteer shift STARTS before 9am.
